There aren't any major traffic issues in Hucknall this morning and the M1 is clear at junction 27 with traffic flowing nicely.

Four people have been arrested following an incident in Watnall which left a man with serious head injuries. Plans to build two more homes near boarding kennels on the border of Hucknall and Linby are not likely to be given the go-ahead by councillors after being deemed an "inappropriate" development on greenbelt land.
