Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

  1. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Pub Quiz at The Station Hotel.
The themed quiz run by The Arc Cinema in collaboration with The Station Hotel gives Hucknall residents the chance to put their Harry Potter knowledge to the test. The quiz will be held tonight (Thursday 7 April) and starts at 8pm.

  1. Hucknall's Heroes book launch at East Side Methodist Church, Bestwood Road.
On Saturday (9 April), local author Andy McKinnon will speak about his new book 'Hucknall's Heroes' which details the lives of the soldiers from the town who served in the First World War. There will also be an opportunity to buy a copy of the book which costs £15. The event will run from 11am until 3pm.

  1. Hucknall Town v Hinckley AFC, Watnall Road.
As the season nears its conclusion, Hucknall Town sit fifth in the league table occupying the final play-off spot. On Saturday (9 April), they take on second placed Hinckley, knowing a win will take them a step closer to securing a play-off place. Kick-off is at 3pm.
