Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

1. House of Pain Wrestling

For the last time this year, wrestling comes to Hucknall. The event will be held at George Street WMC on Friday 10 December with doors opening at 7pm and the action getting under way at 7:30pm. Tickets are priced at £5 each.

1. Hucknall's Festive Weekend.

A number of Hucknall's pubs, bars and venues will be putting on events this weekend to encourage residents to get into the Christmas spirit. Customers are encouraged to come dressed in their finest Christmas jumper. There will be live music, karaoke, DJs, quizzes and much more.

1. Santa's grotto and Christmas village

At the Aerodrome on Watnall Road on Sunday 12 December from 10am until 4pm there will be a Christmas village and Santa's grotto. There is no charge but donations are encouraged. Booking to see Santa is essential.
