Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

1.     Hucknall Cricket Club v Kimberley Institute CC, Hayden Lane, Hucknall.

The cricket season begins on Saturday from 11:30 as Hucknall Cricket Club get their league campaign underway by hosting champions Kimberley.

2.     Hucknall Town v Kirby Muxloe, Watnall Road, Hucknall.

The Yellows will confirm their place in the play-offs if they beat Kirby Muxloe in the final league game of the season on Saturday. However, the visitors will be no pushovers having been in good form recently and climbed into the top half of the table as a result.

3.     Live music at Baker and Bear, Watnall Road, Hucknall.

Claire L Shaw performs a live set at the popular Hucknall bar on Sunday at 5pm.
