Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

1.     Top Gun Maverick- Fan Event, Arc Cinema, Hucknall High Street

On Friday (27 May), watch the highly anticipated 'Top Gun Maverick' and for just £6 more than a regular ticket also have your photo taken in an actual Phantom Fighter Jet cockpit which will be outside the cinema. You'll also get a large souvenir poster as well as souvenir postcards and bumper sticker.

2.     Chalk, Robin Hood Theatre Group, Central Methodist Church, Baker Street

Acclaimed local Christian writer and performer Simon Carter charters a poignant journey through dementia in a "sympathetic and sensitive way". The play begins at 7:30pm on Saturday (28 May). Mr Carter spoke exclusively to Hucknall Nub News about the performance earlier this year.

3.     Hucksville UK Motown and Soul Club Classics Night, John Godber Centre, Ogle Street

On Friday night (27 May) from 7pm, there will be an evening of DJs spinning Motown and the Northern Soul Club classics all night long on original vinyl.
