The Arc Cinema in Hucknall will be showing a Ukrainian film next week and donating the money raised from ticket sales to charity to help the people of the war-torn nation.

The cinema will be screening 'Olga' next Wednesday (30 March). All proceeds will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee which has been helping the people of Ukraine since the country was invaded by Russia last month.

Two Nottinghamshire County Councillors visited Hucknall Library yesterday (Tuesday 22 March) to reassure staff and the local community that it will not be closing or relocating.

Councillor John Cottee and Councillor Keith Girling were joined by Hucknall West District Councillor Kevin Rostance on a short tour of the library. They were also able to meet staff members and speak with them about how they have adapted post pandemic restrictions being lifted.
