Hucknall Town manager Andy Ingle has issued a rallying call ahead of his side's Uhlsport United Counties Division One match against Southwell City.

The match will be The Yellows' penultimate home game of the season with the RM Stadium due to host its final league game of the campaign on Saturday (1 April).

Hucknall currently sit third in the table and will go second tonight if they avoid defeat. However, they are yet to guarantee themselves a playoff place such is the competitiveness of the league. There are just five points separating second place Bourne Town and Radford in sixth, meaning one team covered by those five points will ultimately miss out on a playoff place.

With such a lot at stake, Ingle is keen to ensure Hucknall aren't the side that comes up short in making the playoffs at the end of the season.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "More than ever now we stick to our plan which is concentration on each game as it comes, stick to the process and consistent attention in everything we do.

"Our work ethic must not diminish, desire and belief and all of the things we asked for at the beginning of the season, we have to carry through to the final whistle of the last match of the season and with our fans behind us, the support right up to this point has been nothing short of amazing and has just made the season all the more memorable."

Tonight's match gets underway at 7:45pm.
