Hucknall Town's Boxing Day fixture away to Blidworth Welfare in the Uhlsport United Counties League Division One has been moved back by a day.
Instead, The Yellows will meet Blidworth on Tuesday 27 December.
So far, it has been a season of contrasting fortunes for the two sides with Andy Ingle's Hucknall flying high, occupying fourth position in the table, firmly in the play-off places, having won ten of their opening 16 matches.
Blidworth, on the other hand are currently in the relegation zone, two points adrift of safety, with just 11 points from their first 15 matches.
This will be the seventh consecutive season that Hucknall have not played on Boxing Day. The last time they did was in 2015, when they beat fellow Hucknall based side Rolls Leisure 2-0 in the Central Midlands Football League.
Whilst Boxing Day fixtures are a staple of English football in the higher echelons of the game, it is less common in non-league as it depends on the availability of volunteers and logistically it is often easier to move the fixtures to other days within Christmas week.
Hucknall return to action this weekend, after a week off, with a tricky trip away to Harrowby United on Saturday (5 November).
