Ashfield District Council has issued a warning to residents across the District, including in Hucknall, about a scam involving the £150 council tax rebate.
It was announced earlier this year by Chancellor Rishi Sunak that a £150 council tax discount would be given to residents living in bands A to D, this equates to almost 90 percent of Nottinghamshire homes.

Nottinghamshire County Council has confirmed it will be providing free school meals vouchers to eligible families during the two-week Easter break next month.
The announcement comes after concerns were raised by some councillors the scheme was not going ahead during the school holidays, with fears the council was instead prioritising play events offering free food to families.
