Next Wednesday (15 December) sees the latest film in the marvel franchise, Spider-Man: No Way Home hit the big screen. Tom Holland returns as the titular character who is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high stakes of being a superhero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

Two Hucknall residents have been fined for attending a party, held during Covid-19 restrictions around the same time as the alleged Government parties in 2020.

Court documents seen by the Local Democracy Reporting Service show that individuals connected to at least seven illegal party incidents – held in Derbyshire in the days around the Downing Street parties claims – were prosecuted.

The leader of Nottinghamshire County Council and Mansfield Conservative MP Ben Bradley says he will vote against the Government's new Covid restrictions and believes reintroducing further measures is a "slippery slope".

Mr Bradley is one of a number of backbench Conservative MPs speaking out after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced 'Plan B' on Wednesday (December 8) to tackle a rise in Covid cases and the threat of the Omicron variant.
