If you have high expectations of children's achievement and behaviour and are truly passionate about giving children the best start in life then you could be the person we are looking for!Job PurposeTo work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area, with direct support available from the teacher or senior member of staff.We can offer you a very supportive working environment, a full induction process and support with access to high quality CPD. We have a well-resourced school with friendly, hardworking and honest children. This is a really exciting opportunity to join Team Broomhill!We are looking for someone who has;1) One year's experience of working as a Teaching Assistant.2) Good literacy and numeracy skills gained from general education to GCSE 'O' level/ Adult Literacy and Numeracy level 2 and NVQ level 2 and/or 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience, together with a working knowledge of national curriculum, early years curriculum and other relevant learning programmes/strategiesVisits to Broomhill are warmly welcomed by prior arrangement, please contact the school office on .
