JT Recruit are currently looking for experienced CNC Programme Setter Operators to join our clients team. Our client is a well-established precision engineering company, manufacturing components for the aerospace sector.

The successful candidate will be from a mechanical engineering background being fully skilled in the programming, setting and operating of 3,4 and 5-Axis CNC milling machines with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.

The applicants will be required to create programmes from technical drawings or CAD models using CADCAM software.

Your duties will include:

Programming, setting up and operating CNC Millers with Haas / Brother controls.

Essential Skills and Competences:

• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Program, set and operate CNC Millers
• Experience of working multi axis (3, 4 and 5 axis) machines
• Regular routine maintenance of the machines.
• Quality check the parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Be organised and methodical with the ability to multi-task.

This is working on a regular afters shift: 14.00 - 23.30 Monday - Thursday.

Salary: 16.00- 18.00 per hour
