Overview of the role:
They are looking for an experienced Quality and Environment Manager to join our HSEQ team and be based at their Nottingham UK HQ, working across all of our UK sites, reporting to the Head of HSEQ.
This role will be responsible for ensuring their products and services are fit for purpose and meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.
Duties are but not limited to:
- Developing, managing and improving quality and integration systems
- Planning, managing and general oversight of third-party external audits
- Coordinating the activities required to meet Quality & Environmental standards
- To develop, monitor and advise on the performance of the HSEQ management system, producing data and reporting on performance
- Establish and maintain a regular system of internal HSEQ auditing at both customer sites and internally
- Promote Quality and Environment management and intuitive across the business through training and support
- Review companies HSEQ procedures, ensuring they are communicated and utilized internally and externally
- Establish and maintain a regular system of internal HSEQ auditing at both customer sites and internally
- Manage, plan and support the ISO External (3rd party) Audit program UK & Ireland, to ensure continuous improvement in ISO9001, 14001, 45001, 50001.
- To set Q & E compliance objectives for the wider business and ensure that targets are achieved in cooperation with the Head of HSEQ
- Maintain awareness of the business context and company profitability, including HSEQ budgetary control issues
- Travel around their UK & Ireland sites
To be considered for the role you will have:
- A lead auditor qualification ISO9001 and or ISO4001, ISO45001, ISO50001
- An environmental qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Knowledge and experience around Health & Safety
- Quality management experience in a Construction/Engineering background
- Experienced in Measuring, monitoring and reporting on environmental requirements
- Experienced in Non-conformance, action planning and RCA investigations
- The ability to motivate colleagues and drive change
- A good understanding of UK environmental legislation and reporting requirements
- Professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM) is desirable
- Strong skills using MS Office and Q&E IT solutions including SharePoint
- Consistently works to deadlines

- Excellent time management skills

- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
