The company

A Structural engineering company that specialises in designing and manufacturing products for the transport sector. They are looking for Welders on nights to join their team, working on mild steel products to build projects such as bridges.

The candidate

• Be either apprentice trained or time served
• Have experience working with thick gauge mild steel
• Ability to read engineering drawings without supervision
• Attitude to get the work done to a excellent standard
• Using a overhead crane would be desirable
• Willing to assist in busy areas when needed
• Be able to run multi-runs without supervision
• Experience in full penetration welding

The role

MIG Weld mild steel with thick gauges, following engineering drawings. Working on contracts within the transport industry, helping with the build of bridges and gantries.
