As the snow in Hucknall begins to melt we want to see your best pictures of the town during the last couple of days.

The first flakes began to fall lightly on Wednesday evening (8 March), before continuing throughout most of Thursday and into this morning (10 March) giving the town a fairly impressive covering.

There was some travel disruption this morning with reports of a fallen tree on Hucknall bypass.

There were also school closures with the National Academy and Hucknall Sixth Form Centre both making the decision to close due to the weather.

As forecast, the snow stopped at around midday today and was followed by bright sunshine which is continuing to steadily melt the snow away.

However, we want to see your impressive snow themed pictures. Did you manage to build a snowman or capture a stunning snowy scene near where you live?

If so, please send your best images to us by emailing [email protected] and if we get a good response, we'll share some of them with our readers.
