Hucknall rail passengers may face disruption to their travel plans due to proposed strike action by members of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT).
The strike is currently due to take place on Friday 3 December and Saturday 4 December and has caused East Midlands Railway (EMR) to announce that it will operate a reduced service on those dates.
On the Worksop to Nottingham line, which runs through Hucknall, there will be a reduced service before 0830 and after 2030 on both days. Rail Replacement coaches will run in place of cancelled trains.
A statement from EMR on their website, said: "We remain in discussions with the RMT union and are optimistic that a resolution will be reached later this week. If this happens, we will do everything we can to reinstate our advertised timetable ahead of 3rd December."
The action, if it goes ahead, will also impact several other routes from Nottingham station, so passengers from Hucknall, hoping to make a connection from the city will need to also check the arrangements for that part of the journey.
For further information visit EMR's website here. The webpage will be updated as and when more information is available.
