Hucknall born footballer Joe Worrall scored his first Premier League goal on Saturday (11 March).

The Nottingham Forest captain scored in the club's 3-1 away defeat to Champions League chasing Tottenham Hotspur.

Worrall, who has recently regained his place in the first team after being dropped earlier in the season, nodded the ball home late in the second half. It gave The Tricky Trees a glimmer of hope, having been three behind courtesy of a Harry Kane brace and Son Heung-min goal. However, a missed penalty in stoppage time meant Worrall's goal only proved to be a consolation.

It was an eventful game for the 26-year-old who gave away a penalty in the first half after bringing down Richarlison and saw the consequent spot kick converted by Kane.

However, his goal, just the fifth time the defender has netted for Forest, went some way to atoning for the error.

The defeat coupled with wins for struggling Everton and Bournemouth over the weekend means that Forest are now just two points clear of the relegation zone with 12 games remaining.
