Hucknall Town's match against Southwell City postponed

Hucknall Town's home game against Southwell City has been postponed due to the snowfall the area has experienced over the last three days.

The Uhlsport United Counties Division One clash had been scheduled to take place at The RM Stadium on Aerial Way at 3pm this afternoon (Saturday 11 March).

However, a pitch inspection was held first thing this morning, and a swift decision was made to call the game off.

A statement on the club's official website, posted this morning, said: "The news we were all expecting.

"The pitch is completely covered in snow with zero chance of it being playable and so unfortunately the match is off.

"Weather permitting we are at home again on Wednesday against Blackstones."
