Hucknall Town Football Club have announced the signing of striker Niall Towle for the rest of the season.

The Yellows confirmed the signing of the 22-year-old former Long Eaton, Basford, Carlton Town and Greasley Rovers forward this afternoon (Wednesday 15 March).

Towle who also had a brief stint with Hucknall when he was a youngster, goes straight into the squad for tonight's game against Blackstones at The RM Stadium.

Hucknall manager Andy Ingle is pleased to have brought in another attacking player as the club look to maintain their push for a play-off place in the Uhlsport United Counties Division One table.

Speaking to the club's official website, Ingle said: "We are delighted to have acquired Niall to help in our final run of games to the end of the season and hopefully seal our playoff place.

"It wasn't something we needed to think about when we knew he was available. In and around the 18-yard box, Niall will give us something extra whilst also fitting into how we want our front three to play overall.

"Having the extra bonus of him having played at step three and four, he will be up for the challenge too. We now have four strikers that will not only keep each other on their toes, but also gives us a greater number of options to get us where we want to be". 

Tonight's match against Blackstones FC. kicks off at 7:45.
