Hucknall Town were thwarted by the weather on Saturday (26 November) as their fixture against Birstall United was postponed.

A pitch inspection was carried out by Steve Walker on the morning that the match was intended to be played. However, the pitch at Meadow Lane in Leicestershire was adjudged to be 'unfit to play on.'

Hucknall Town tweeted shortly after the decision was made, saying: "MATCH POSTPONED. After a pitch inspection this morning at Birstall United the pitch is deemed unfit to play on. We apologise for any inconvenience."

As a result of not playing at the weekend, The Yellows remain fifth in the Uhlsport United Counties Division One table.

They are back in action on Saturday (3 December) when they travel to fourth place Radford.
