Hucknall Town succumbed to their first away league defeat of the season on Saturday (12 November) as they were beaten 2-1 by Saffron Dynamo.

The hosts were ahead within two minutes, as Jack Scott's shot beat Louis Kinnerley in the Hucknall goal.

Elliot Butler then doubled their advantage with just over 20 minutes remaining.

Jamie Crawford's strike five minutes later gave Hucknall hope but they were unable to find an equaliser in the final 15 minutes which means they remain fourth in the league table.

Hucknall Town manager Andy Ingle was disappointed not only with the result but also the performance. Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "If we are serious about where we want to finish this season, we have to win games in a manner of the standards we expect. We just weren't anywhere near our usual levels of work rate in the game, or playing the type football we know we can play."
