Hucknall Town will offer free entry when they play their final match at Watnall Road next month it has been confirmed.

The Yellows are moving to a newly purpose built ground, the RM Stadium on Aerial Way later this season.

Their final match at Watnall Road will be played on Saturday 15 October when they host league leaders Aylestone Park.

A statement on the club's website read: "After many years, it' s now becoming a reality and football at Watnall Road for the Yellows will end with our league fixture against Aylestone Park on Saturday 15th October. After 79 years of football at Watnall Road we move to a new stadium later this year, so this is a historic event.

"The club will be welcoming the whole community to this match FREE OF CHARGE. The bar will be open from 1.30pm in the club house and we will remain open after the match where we have other things planned. More information to follow but for now get the date in your diary, share with friends and neighbours and let's make this a great event."

Following this match, the club will play a number of away matches before the RM Stadium officially opens at the end of November or early December.
