The Role We are now excited to seek a Deputy Manager for the home in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about children's care and capable of leading a dedicated team. Deputy Manager Key Responsibilities - Assisting the Registered Manager in the overall management of the home - Ensuring the highest standards of care are provided - Developing strong relationships with children, staff, parents, and external agencies - Implementing care plans and managing risk assessments - Promoting a positive culture within the team Deputy Manager Requirements
- - NVQ Level 3 qualified in Children and Young People or equivalent
- - Experienced in a supervisory role within children's residential care Knowledgeable about legislation and guidelines for children's homes
- - Passionate about improving outcomes for children
- - Able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings where necessary
- - Online and in-person training, access to a range of Level 2 short qualifications, as well as support to complete the QCF Level 5 Children and Young People's Families Manager Residential qualification.
